A whole lot of country lies between the desert drone of Alice Springs and the crashing waves of Salt Water. It's all home for Nola Lauch, a Kirrae Wurrong-Bundjalung singer-songwriter with bonds of belonging in Victoria's Mornington Peninsula region and the central desert. Hence the wide embrace of her calling card Red Dust Salt Water, a debut EP of emotionally charged acoustic-electric rock by her band, Jalgany. Available here on 12" vinyl, also available under Various Artists as a $10 CD.
